The awards honor photographers early in their careers or photographers with less than four years' professional photography experience.
Over 1,550 entries and more than 4,000 images were submitted in 2025.
I am incredibly proud to share that my image of Justine as the Archangel Angelica from my series 'The Rejected' has placed in the Top 20 in the Art Category of Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers 2025, presented by Fujifilm.
To be named a finalist and recognised among such powerful and visionary work from across Australasia is an honour I hold close.
This image — and the series it belongs to — is deeply personal and symbolic, to see it resonate on this level means the world.

I AM SO PROUD to announce that a selection of images from my graduate exhibition ‘The Rejected’ have made it into the shortlist of finalists in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale GradFoto 2022.
The Ballarat International Foto Biennale proudly presents the GradFoto 2022 exhibition, featuring 22 finalists from 12 universities. This award celebrates the creative excellence of graduating students, open to emerging contemporary artists from Australian institutions whose artistic practice includes photography. Following its inaugural launch in 2020, GradFoto 2022 continues to showcase the graduates’ calibre of photographic work to new audiences across Australia and beyond. GradFoto is an annual award presented each year for graduating artists.
